LAKE GOGEBIC AREA UPDATE via Bergland Outfitters Bait Shop & Motel – 12/28 The picture was taken yesterday afternoon before all the rain it’s currently still raining. The trails in our area will be a mess till we get more snow . A couple of inches are in the forecast mid week nothing enough to really do much good . Folks my reports come from snowmobile guests staying in the motel and ice reports come from actual people out fishing the lake and from the trusted guides . What you get from me rather bad or good are actual true conditions yes some people don’t like to hear the reports I give but the last thing I want are folks coming to the area with false hopes on the conditions and leaving the area with regrets and feeling like they got conned. We all need your business to help survive but I won’t give you false hope either. Ice reports pretty much all standing water on the ice with bergland bay around 10-11 inches with the main part of the lake ranges from 3-8 inches as of yesterday very few have attempted fishing the main part of the lake .Gogebic Area Grooming on Facebook

❄️ Friday, March 27th: Here’s a look at lakefront conditions in Ontonagon County. A band of lake effect snow moved in, dropping two inches in one hour.
