Gaylord Area Trail Report – 12/26
Gaylord Bureau – December 26, 2024 9:00 a.m. We had an epic start to snowmobile season – the Gaylord area got hit with over 90 inches of snow to start out winter! Fresh snow brought lots of smiles to the trails this week! Trails were groomed yesterday and are in fair condition. Grooming has currently stopped due to the warmer temps. Check out this live feed to see trail #7, just north of Gaylord. Pics below I took at several trail crossings this morning. Still alot of snow in the woods and I have seen worse looking trails but with the forcasts for the next few days what little we have is going to deteriorate so I say use it while it is here. ONce the rain starts it will ruin things. Boy I do not like saying things like this but what can you do. Snow chants may help turn the rain to snow. Thanks for checking in.
