HARBOR SPRINGS AREA UPDATE via Harbor Springs Snowmobile Club – 12/08 Unfortunately the temperatures rose into the mid 40’s yesterday afternoon and it still has yet to drop below freezing. We lost quite a bit of snow so all planning / rolling will be on hold until we receive more snow. <> <> WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Gaylord Michigan >> Snow tapers this evening, leaving drizzle and freezing drizzle across eastern upper Michigan, which could lead to a glaze of ice. For northern lower, areas of drizzle will transition to a band of rain showers later tonight, perhaps ending as some snow showers / flurries. HARBOR SPRINGS AREA UPDATE via Harbor Springs Snowmobile Club >> Last night we groomed the railroad grade from Alanson to Mackinaw along with the trail behind the airport. The run started off with it snowing & then it turned into freezing rain & then into a down pour as he got north of Carp Lake. We were able to cut a lot of the bumps out but with the rain & warm temps it won’t take long for them to appear again.
