MUNISING AREA UPDATE via Alger County SORVA – 12/03 Trail Report Posted. https://www.algersorva.com/snowmobile-trail-report/ Early Season Conditions. We attended a meeting last night at the Road Commission. They are still wanting funds to pay for pavement damage snowmobiles cause. Miners Castle Trail is closed. We will continue to try to find a solution. Several Business owners were in attendance. Congressman Jack Bergman had his UP District Liaison attend. We are working with them and are exploring all possible funding options as well as reroute opportunities. We also attended the Munising Township Board meeting last night providing them with updates and addressing any concerns they have.
