NEWBERRY AREA UPDATE via TASA Tahquamenon Area Snowmobile Association – 02/29
We have 2 groomers headed from Newberry to Holland Lake Staggimg area. North if town got somewhere around 8 ton10 inches. Its hard to tell because we had alot of blowing and drifting due to the high winds. If your venturing out conditions are like very early season. Take it easy and watch for down branches. Looking at the 10 day forcast this snow isnt going to last to long. Take advantage of it while you can. All of the local businesses really need your support.

PARADISE AREA UPDATE via Paradise Area Night Riders www.paradiseareanightriders.org >> 2/17/26 26 degrees this morning and quite foggy. We are under a winter storm warning starting tonight. "They" are saying 6-9" for us through Wednesday....YEA!!!!! Nothing was groomed yesterday cause Mondays are "maintance day", and here`s a good example why we do this. I didn`t make it out but the boys found 2 drags that needed some welding on and one machine that was missing 3 outa the 4 bolts that hold up the belly pan. If that thing would have fallen off on the trail it would have been ugly! All trails are in great shape, this warmer weather hasn`t hurt us too bad yet, and all trails will be run today/tonight. If this "winter storm" hits us like predicted it will freshen everything up nicely! COME ON U.P.!!!!!!!!!! LET `ER SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Groomer Chris #paradise #newberry ... PARADISE AREA UPDATE via Paradise Area Night Riders www.paradiseareanightriders.org >> 2/15/26 24 degrees this morning and cloudy. We must have had that freezing fog again earlier cause everything is pure white outside....really cool looking. We have survived the last couple days of warmer weather really well, it helps when it gets into the low 20`s at night. It looks like a couple more days above freezing and then chill back out to "normal", with a little snow here an there. Every trail was groomed yesterday and all operators said they are in great shape. Our entire system will get it again today and then Monday`s are our "maintance day". This is where we go thru all 3 machines with a fine tooth comb and grease underneath zerts and just check everything out. Bout all I got to report....COME ON U.P. before its too late!!!!
