BENZIE / MANISTEE UPDATE via Benzie Manistee Snowbirds – 01/21 Benzie Manistee snowbird groomer drivers are awesome, they groomed 160 miles on Thursday, 75 miles on Friday, and 60 miles on Saturday and the trails were perfect. We covered from Brethren on the South end to Maple City up North. Please give the groomers room on the trail they are big rigs, we have snowmobiles and can maneuver around them. We’ve been out grooming the last two days during the cold weather, and the trails are shaping up very nicely.
With the warmer temperatures moving in over the next few days, the likelihood of the trails getting soft and messy is pretty high. Once the cooler temps return next week, we’ll be back out grooming to get everything back to the quality we like to see.
Please hang in there through the weekend, as the trails may not be in their usual condition.
