LAKE GOGEBIC AREA UPDATE via Gogebic Area Grooming – 04/01 It’s with heavy heart that we have to make this announcement. We are officially done for the 22/2023 season. Given the extension was only a extra day and we didn’t receive any new snow and quite honestly we’re tired!! Haha. Thanks to each and every one of you. We are a new crew and learning every day….. FYI. We’re hiring operators for 23/24 season joking but not really. Our page won’t go silent as there is always something happening. Our trail system remains in good condition, so get out and enjoy the weekend. Gogebic Area Grooming WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Marquette Michigan --> Four days of heavy rain and snow brought record-breaking precipitation amounts across portions of Upper Michigan between April 29th and May 2nd.
