GRAND MARAIS UPDATE via Grand Marais Sno-Trails Assoc. – 03/16 Due to the warm temperatures we did not groom last night and will not be grooming tonight. The trail into town is poor. We recommend trailering. While much of the UP picks up an inch or less of snow, higher totals up to 1-3in will be possible over the far eastern UP. We have enough left for four days unless the DNR comes through. We should know more tomorrow, but we are not grooming until we know what’s going on or we may switch it up to every other day until the end of the season or wait till Friday and groom until we’re done. 30 degrees this morning and snowing. I`ve got a fresh 2" on my deck from last night too. Here`s what I know on the trails......
Groomer Dave ran the South trail #8 Sunday and said it turned out great.
Groomer Keith ran the Pine Stump trails yesterday and called them good.
Groomer Glenn hit the Point trails also yesterday and called them good.
It looks like the weather will hold off good enough to finish till the end of the season so come on U.P. this weekend for one last ride!!!!! Of course you can ride into April but we can`t groom after the 31st.

Eh, hour and a half to second stop sign, 10.3 mile, not spinning, good bite but pulling alot of disagreeable heavy snow.
Blade still wants to push up a wad and roll balls off the end.
So, creative dragging it shall be for the time being.
AGAIN, THEY SAY, its actually supposed to get quite cold tonight, what I am able to leave behind is shaved off highs an filled in holes, if it freezes up, should last much longer than the last several grooms.
We shall see. Keep you posted.

27 degrees this morning under a partly sunny sky. Here`s what went on yesterday and what`s happening today.......
Groomer Glenn ran the Point trails and said they are in great shape.

Groomer Dave is gonna run the South trail #8 today.
That`s it, short and sweet. We`ll keep runnin until the weather doesn`t allow us or the end of the month, whichever comes first.
