Grand Marais Trail Report – 03/16
GRAND MARAIS UPDATE via Grand Marais Sno-Trails Assoc. – 03/16 Due to the warm temperatures we did not groom last night and will not be grooming tonight. The trail into town is poor. We recommend trailering. Grooming will resume as soon as the temperatures drop, which looks like sometime early tomorrow. <> <> Grand Marais Sno-Trails Assoc. on Facebook >>>> <> Michigan Snowmobile Trail Report Tuesday March 24th, 2026 - 10:00 am NEWBERRY AREA UPDATE via North Store Follow Me Outfitters >> Good morning Mother Nature is making everything white again!! #newberry #snowphotos ... It’s kind of up in the air right now, but we will let you know. #newberryUpdate the DNR got us a additional $7000. 30 degrees this morning and snowing. I`ve got a fresh 2" on my deck from last night too. Here`s what I know on the trails......
Groomer Dave ran the South trail #8 Sunday and said it turned out great.
Groomer Keith ran the Pine Stump trails yesterday and called them good.
Groomer Glenn hit the Point trails also yesterday and called them good.
It looks like the weather will hold off good enough to finish till the end of the season so come on U.P. this weekend for one last ride!!!!! Of course you can ride into April but we can`t groom after the 31st.

Morning trail report! If I were you I’d skip my coffee and call in sick because Mr Tucker and his trail paver have been working on their snow dance and they are really laying it down. It is amazing on trail 89. Hope to see out here... #grandmarais #newberry #snowphotosFrom groomer Mark.

Eh, hour and a half to second stop sign, 10.3 mile, not spinning, good bite but pulling alot of disagreeable heavy snow.
Blade still wants to push up a wad and roll balls off the end.
So, creative dragging it shall be for the time being.
AGAIN, THEY SAY, its actually supposed to get quite cold tonight, what I am able to leave behind is shaved off highs an filled in holes, if it freezes up, should last much longer than the last several grooms.
We shall see. Keep you posted.
10:34 Windy Corners finished, not bragging but its flat, again if temps work with us, it freezes up, should offset any memory underneath, thats what I'm gunning for.
Just turned right to disappear in radio silence, time to get comfy for the long haul,I'll keep you posted later. 😊 #newberry #snowphotos ... See MoreSee Less
