NEWBERRY AREA UPDATE via Pine Stump – 3/15 It looks like it will be a great weekend for people riding and for the vintage show!!! If we get a few inches of snow it will be great. If we get the high end of the forecast it will be off the hook!!! If you can sneak in a beginning of the week ride here’s your perfect chance coming up!!! <> NEWBERRY AREA UPDATE via TASA – 3/13 Mar. 13 2023 March 13, 2023 11:30 am We did not groom anything last night. We plan to groom to holland lake again tonight but nothing else unless we get more snow. We have 2 groomers that are able to be used. All the trails are wet and getting thin with the warm weather, but are still in fair condition, trail 45 has mud again where the logging has been going. It is currently 20 degrees and snowing. Remember when you are on the side of any road always ride on the right side! In other news we are raffling off a a 2023 Polaris Sportsman 450 Donated by Renze Power Sports. Tickets: $100.00 each Drawing held April 22, 2023 @ 7:00pm at the Elks Lodge in Newberry 300 tickets printed Tickets can be purchased from: Renze Power Sports, Halfway Lake Cottages, North Store Follow Me Outfitters, Pine Stump Restaurant, Schubach Farms Cabin Rentals, or Rich Rottier 616-550-8201. Proceeds will go to fund trail grooming equipment! Good Luck! Curfew in the Village of Newberry is 11:00pm to 7:00am. Trail 9: Not Groomed last night. Reported as fair. Logging be operations are finished and county roads 415 and 422 are now being groomed but snow is still a bit thin. Trail 498: Not goomed last night. Good. Trail 45: Not Groomed due to lack of snow. poor condition. There is logging on the trail shortly after you jump on Trail 45 just past the Logging museum off of M-123. There is also be logging about 3 miles North of Skyline Road off to the right. Please use extreme caution in these areas! Both portions are being plowed and could be bumpy or rutted. Very Good in spots Trial 9/2: Not Groomed last night. Conditions being reported as poor. We currently have two machines heading to the bear trap to try and get that back into shape. We will be working on 440 also today. It’s going to take us a few days to get all the trails cleared. If your out riding today be careful out there lots of snow drifts. Lots of wind and snow. It will take a few days to get the trails cleaned up.
