Seney Trail Report – 03/13

SENEY AREA UPDATE via Seney Snowmobile Association – 03/13

From the Groomer out doing trail 43 and 8 to the Bear Trap.
Currently doing the side of 450 All the way into town. As the lower half of 43 is getting really really bad.

Sleds should use extreme caution on the 450 roadside trail. As this is next to a road, it’s not maintained to the standards of a registered trail. So there are occasional low hanging branches and uneven trail in areas.

The pinpoint. That is a driveway crossing that has snow pushed up in very tall banks. I didn’t think it would be a good idea for the machine to chop them down. So riders will encounter a spot where your riding along And the groomed trail disappears off the to road. This is because I bypassed this jump of a driveway crossing. Use caution all the way down 450. The side of 450 is in much better shape than trail 43 from Seney to Fox River Rd. These pics are along the side of Fox River Rd (450)
