Seney Trail Report – 03/11
SENEY AREA UPDATE via Seney Snowmobile Association – 03/11 The warm weather the last few days has taken a hit on the trails in town. Trail 43 heading north has some water starting to show up. The corners are starting to get thin also for about the first 2 to 3 miles out of Seney. We Are trying to groom the side of CR 450. If you take that up is much better than trail 43. Once you get to the north of Fox River Rd the trails are still in good shape. Trail 440 along M-77 is getting icy. It’s ridable but not great. Best bet is to trailer north of town and park. If you plan to come up and ride expect Spring conditions. We could use more snow that’s for sure. If you plan to ride from town to town probably not going to be your best riding in and out of towns. If you just like to go and do a few loops in our area you’ll still have some good riding. Blizzard Warnings have moved South to include Leelanau, Emmet, Cheboygan, Southeastn Chippewa, Mackinac Island/Bois Blanc, Beaver Island. Ice Storm Warnings have moved South to include Wexford, Missaukee, Oscoda, Alcona and Alpena Counties. Winter Weather Advisories now include Clare, Osceola Counties.
The warm line is farther South keeping higher totals North. Winds continue to pick up along with the snow tonight.
