LAKE GOGEBIC AREA UPDATE via Gogebic Area Grooming – 02/27 Happy Monday. Trails 13n,13s,8e,102 and 1 were all groomed last night/morning. I would rate trails in overall good condition. The corners are a handful at the moment, the snow get’s pushed to the outside while soft then freezes in tight late night. Been working on getting those back under control but otherwise all trails are good and we are Grooming daily. Come up and enjoy!! <> Working out all the bumps and berms on Trail 1S between Fishtales and Presque Isle! Blizzard Warnings have moved South to include Leelanau, Emmet, Cheboygan, Southeastn Chippewa, Mackinac Island/Bois Blanc, Beaver Island. Ice Storm Warnings have moved South to include Wexford, Missaukee, Oscoda, Alcona and Alpena Counties. Winter Weather Advisories now include Clare, Osceola Counties.
The warm line is farther South keeping higher totals North. Winds continue to pick up along with the snow tonight.
