LAKE GOGEBIC AREA UPDATE via Gogebic Area Grooming – 02/26 Morning everyone. Sunday February 26th at about 18°. Sunshine Sunshine Sunshine blah Temps remained below freezing but the sun softened up the snow and made for a long night. We do have extra help tonight so 13n,13s, 8e, 102 and 1n will all be covered tonight. We are under another winter storm advisory for up to 6"?? Haha, who knows what we’ll get. Again with the sun softening the snow best time to catch flat smooth trails is morning. Blizzard Warnings have moved South to include Leelanau, Emmet, Cheboygan, Southeastn Chippewa, Mackinac Island/Bois Blanc, Beaver Island. Ice Storm Warnings have moved South to include Wexford, Missaukee, Oscoda, Alcona and Alpena Counties. Winter Weather Advisories now include Clare, Osceola Counties.
The warm line is farther South keeping higher totals North. Winds continue to pick up along with the snow tonight.
