SAULT STE. MARIE UPDATE via Sault Ste. Marie Snowmobile Association – 02/17 Good morning all! For those that have been asking, we unfortunately have not received any new snow. At this point, there isn’t any in the forecast for the next few days. We could see lake effect bands start to set up but nothing so far. Trails are very hard packed and icy in many spots but still completely covered with a very good base. Road sides are bare. Again, the biggest issue is concern for overheating.
