MUNISING AREA UPDATE via Alger County Sorva – 2/15
TRAIL REPORT, Thursday, February 16, 2023 8:00 a.m.
TRAILS ARE A MESS!
Overall trails are now in poor condition. Dirty snow, wet, icy and no base in areas. Watch for flooding and standing water through the whole trail system, especially Trail 418. From just East of AuTrain West to Trail 417 South the base is gone and gravely. Grooming is on hold until we get a significant snowfall which, according to the latest forecast, won’t be for some time. Keep a close eye on trail conditions as you ride and stay right. Stay tuned for updates!

MUNISING AREA UPDATE via TNT Trenary Northern Trails – 2/15
Two pictures from the tunnel on US 41 show the good(ish) and the bad. Water standing in the trail and a base that is still holding strong. Going to assess the trail tomorrow after letting the cold and a little snow hopefully work to our advantage, and make a plan for recovery. The operators haven’t lost faith yet and neither should you!
