Boyne Area Trail Report – Mountainside Inn – 02/11

Petoskey Snowmobile Club – 02/11
Current Trail Conditions: Good

We had a couple days of sun recently that evaporated some of the snow in the area. That was followed by an inch or two of fresh snow. The trails are in decent shape. The northern trails are in better shape than the Larry’s Run (76 South). Trail 76 south has some iffy spots that are getting pretty thin on snow. Rate that one about a 7 out of 10. The rest of the trails are more like an 8 or 9 out of 10. Still some good riding.

Current Trail Conditions: Good

The trails are frozen and very rideable ,but getting a bit tan.The groomers are running but the icy base is still under the snow,so grooms are not holding up well in the corners or on the hills.

Cadillac / Baldwin Area Trail Report – Wolf Lake Motel and Resort – 02/11

Hi All. Sweet is all I can say. This new snow really helped things out. Groomers are running and right now the trails are in good shape. The forecast sounds good too, with some LES and colder temps for the next week or so.

Latest local grooming schedules can be found on our web site. The best part is that we are in the middle of all these grooming clubs, (which we are members of 4 clubs), so if one isn’t grooming, one of the other clubs are grooming. The next report will be 2-15-10.

We still have a couple rooms and snowmobiles available for this weekend, so call soon or be left out in the cold. Call 231 745 4101 8am until 10pm.
We are running a Bed and Sled Special. Get a modern well maintained single passenger Snowmobile from 10am until 6pm and one of our small single Motel Rooms, Sunday through Thursday for $230, helmet and tax included or get a modern well maintained two passenger Snowmobile from 10am until 6pm and one of our small single Motel Rooms, Sunday through Thursday for $260, helmet and tax included. Weather permitting.

Also stay two days and get the third free, Sunday through Thursday. No Fridays and Saturdays. You must mention at the time of the reservation and of course this special is dependent on availability and can not be combined with any other offer.

Plus we are in the middle of one of the largest ORV trail systems in the state, so if the snow isn’t that great for snowmobiling, bring your ORV up and ride over 200 miles of ORV trails. PLEASE DON’T RIDE YOUR ORV ON THE GROOMED SNOWMOBILE TRAILS. There are plenty of open trails available for ORV riding. Don’t worry winter isn’t over for snowmobiling, but a winter ORV ride can be a blast too. If you don’t have a snowmobile or yours is broken, no problem, WE HAVE ON-SITE SNOWMOBILE RENTALS right here at the Resort. There is good snow in the woods, so two tracken and seasonal roads are a blast right now. (Which there are tons of). 231 745 4101 8am until 10pm

Rooms and ON-SITE Snowmobile Rentals are available.
