Temps are expected to be in the Teens and 20’s Through the week, with little snow. Maybe 2 to 3 inches by Thursday. The trails are icy where ever there was snow. We will not groom until we get about 8 to 10 inches of snow.

Trail #9 is in Poor condition, there are spots on the 3 Mile grade with no snow on it.

Trail #45 is plowed from Skyline Road to the north 3 miles for logging. This area is very icy with large dips, please be very CAUTIOUS. The rest of the trail is in Poor condition.

Trail #9/2 to Epoufette & Trout Lake is in Poor shape down to Rexton where the snow gets thin.

THE NORTH STORE ON CO. RD. 407,WILL BE OPEN THIS YEAR.

The curfew for the Village of Newberry is 11:00 P.M. until 7:00 A.M.

FYI: There will not be gas at Rainbow Lodge as they are closed due to the Duck Lake fire. There is a gas pump logo on the trail map, but they will be CLOSED.

Well, it looks like Ole Man Winter came back from vacation!! We got about 4 inches of snow last night and are still under a lake effect snow advisory until 1pm today. They are calling for about another couple of inches. This will help out the trails ALOT.

Its 23 degrees here now and the temps are supposed to remain cold for the foreseeable future. If this works out we should be good to go for the weekend….see I told you not to give UP yet!!! We probably won`t get the groomers out today,just to let things settle down, but we are ready to go!! I`ll let you know more tomorrow. LET IT SNOW!!!! – Groomer Chris
