We received a dusting of snow last night – and are predicted to receive 2-4 inches today and I’ll report back later if that comes to fruition. Snow’s in the forecast for most of this upcoming week and the next weekend.
I’ll post updates daily this week to let you know what our conditions are and I’m hoping to be able to give a positive report. John Dee is forecasting a foot of snow for the next 5-10 days as shown below. Thanks for checking and we hope to be seeing and sledding soon.

I guess you can figure it out – its 44 degrees, and sun shining brightly. We had light drizzle on/off yesterday. The trail is mud. Although directly in front of us we still have snow/ice for a short ways.
Its a sloppy mess around here. The yard and drive have about 5 inches of snow/ice. The woods too.
Good news – winter is set to return this evening, and besides turning colder snow coming in with it. We’ll have to wait and see if we can get enough to make the trails ridable soon.
More good news – the trailer with two sleds that was stolen last weekend up at Alanson has been recovered, although there is not much left of the sleds. They were parted out…
Keep encouraging Winter to return to northern Michigan. We want to ride and play in the cold and snow!
