The snowmobile trails from Twin Lakes to Copper Harbor are open. The groomers are out working on them and the trails are in very good condtion but watch out for some low hanging branches. Remember to watch out for the groomers when you’re out on the trails, they have the right of way!!
Trail 122 is closed for logging.
There is a temporary re-route on Trail 3, north of Mohawk because of logging.
The Keweenaw Convention & Visitors Bureau asks that you stay on the trails, STAY OFF THE ICE, respect private property, do not drink and drive, and above all else, please, drive safely. The signs on the snowmobile trails are there for the riders’ safety. Please, DO NOT remove or destroy these signs.
Please be aware that if you snowmobile on U.S. Coast Guard property you could face federal trespass charges.

It is a beautiful day to ride. Snow is hanging on every branch and it truly is a winter wonderland. Our groomers are back out of the barn and keeping the trails well groomed and ready to ride. GG Steve is on Trail #3 Kaleva to T-ville today and Trail # South out of Kaleva will get hit tonight.
Club meeting tonight 7 p.m. at the clubhouse in Kaleva. Come find out how much it takes to run a club and keep the trails in good riding condition. It is our busy time and we need volunteers.

Hello and happy hump day! We have gotten about 12 inches of fresh snow in the past three days! Woohooh! Ground totals are upwards of 22′! The entire trail system was groomed last night and will continued to be groomed today. There is a base of about 8-10′ in most areas. They say after today and tonight that we are headed for a bit of a warm up. So get out and ride baby! It’s our time and its great! Remember to watch out for the groomers and stay out of their way! You can move outta their way A TON easier than they can! Give them a thumbs up as you pass by! Be safe, have fun! Keep in touch! I love your emails! THANKS TONS for the email and awesome pic Cincinnati Steve! LOVE it! Be safe, have fun and I’ll SEEYA on the trails! Carol
