Saturday’s trails took a beating with all the riders. The best ride was going east doing the Lovells – Lewiston trails. They were in great shape. Fewer riders.

Everyone seemed to leave for home early Sunday. Getting an earlier start due to the winter storm south of us, and SuperBowl.

The trails were groomed and riding Sunday was smooth and fun. Very few riders. That should be the case for the week.

So if you can get away… come up and enjoy our winter trails with less traffic.

February 1, 2015 – Conditions: Fair to Good – We got an inch or so of snow yesterday and we are getting a dusting today. Sadly, we are on the northern edge of the snow storm that is blanketing the southern half of the state. Haven’t had a report yet on how the southern area of our system is benefiting from the snow storm yet. Hopefully it is as we could really use more snow in the southern and eastern portions of our system.

33 Rd Staging Area–S of M-55–approx.. 3 miles west of Cadillac on M-55 (watch for signs)

Caberfae Staging Area–approx.. 12 miles west of Cadillac on M-55 (watch for signs)

Boon Staging Area–park in plowed area south of Boon Grocery

Note: The porta-a-johns were removed from our staging areas today as our contracts on them expired 3-15-13.
