Temp 32 degrees, windy

Overall the main trails are in great to excellent condition after grooming. The trails in the hills around Munising are overall good.

* Trail 8 is in excellent condition.
* Trail 419 from Trail 8 North into Wetmore is very good.
From Wetmore to Christmas it goes from good to fair to good after the first few miles. West Bay Spur is very good.
*Trail 7 from Christmas South to Ridge Road is fair to good.
The remainder of Trail 7 South to the Trail 8 intersection is good.
*Trail 422 to Miner’s Castle and Trail 7 South to CR440 are very good.

We have a warm spell coming with 40 degrees today, 50 with rain by Tuesday then temps are dropping back down. We may still have another good snowfall before the season closes out.

It’s 32 degrees and cloudy out in Frederic this morning. Still sleds out and about trying to get their last ride in.

The roads are very dry but in looking down the trail crossings on the way here this morning it is still very white with bad spots in corners I could see.

They are making the best of what we have. Still at the motels this morning were 3 trailers at the Days Inn and 13 at the Ramada.

Riders that were in yesterday were still having a good time and I would say the sled traffic for a Saturday was on the slow side. With three days of 40s and almost 50 we will be melting like the wicked witch….
