Paradise Area Trail Report – Paradise Area Night Riders – 12/17

21 degrees this morning and its starting to snow pretty hard. Looks like we picked up another 2 inches last night also. Looking at the radar and weather reports on the computer we are supposed to get around 3 more inches today and 3 more tonight….YEA!!!! Now on too business…..
We ran to the Falls yesterday and it was in pretty rough shape. Lots of water holes and muddy. The gates remain closed….don`t even try it!! The bad news is, on the way back we had a groomer break down. We`re thinking either a fuel injector or the injector pump….DARN IT!!!!! We had to tow it from the Lower Falls back to the barn. So, we didn`t get done what we wanted to get done…..and we`re down a groomer till probably next week sometime. This is why I said our plans are ‘etched in snow’.
The boys ARE runnin to Pine Stump as I type this with our 2 remaining groomers. Groomer Loren will call me tonight with the details on how that went. This is a 10 and a half hour run on a good day so I probably won`t hear from him till later tonight….Good luck boys!!
We do still plan on runnin the Point trail tomorrow but runnin the south swamp trail might have to wait till we can get our broken groomer fixed. MORE WORK…..DARN IT again….we just can`t catch a break!!!!! Well…..keep checking back. Groomer Chris
