Paradise Area Trail Report – Paradise Area Night Riders – 02/19

41 degrees this morning and sunny…..yes 41….darn it!!! The sun was out all day yesterday and I saw 48 here. I went to bed last night at midnight and it was 39.
All trails were groomed yesterday and they all turned out in just fair shape. They were all beat to h*$#@ cause of this crappy warm weather. I ran the Falls trail and have never seen holes that deep in the trail. About the only good news is I didn`t break through any water holes. Groomer Mike ran the south trail #8 through the swamp and said we would be lucky if it holds up for another day or two. The power line south is pretty bad too and starting to open up. The Point trails #452 and #453 are fair for now but we are gettin thin in a couple spots. The Pine Stump trail #8 is fair but the dirt roads that are plowed are down to pure mud and the main roads are all bare and dry. Good news eh?
It looks like this warm crap will go all week but then cool down for next weekend and get alittle snow…..just may be too late….we`ll have to wait an see. Sorry bout all this bad news but ain`t nuttin we can do about the weather. We will keep grooming as long as we can though. Keep checking back and I`ll keep ya`ll informed. FAKE WINTERS SUCK!!!!!
