» Gaylord Area Trail Report – Ray’s Retreat Country Inn – 01/24Yesterday was not a good day for the trails. Freezing rain that became all rain as the day went on left much of the trail mud with huge waterholes.
It did get cold last night and started to snow. At this point we have about two inches of new snow, it is still snowing. It will take more snow to get the trails in decent shape. Hopefully it will stay cold and keep snowing.
The trails got a little beat up this past weekend, but this 3-4" of fresh wet heavy snow will help ALOT!
We didn’t get the rain , so that’s a plus.They are calling for snow all week and We are grooming every night. So come on up!!!! it’s time to ride!!.
