Benzie Visitor Bureau – 02/29
Hi all! Well, we got 4-6′ over the weekend so it was certainly rideable and not too bad out there! Groomers were not out but weatherman said we could see a potentially heavy snow storm yesterday and today, but wacky weather is what we got instead. We got snow, ice and rain, so not sure what is left out there. I am sure it is snow covered but sloppy and gonna be hard crusty ice too. I guess I am going to have to wait and see what I hear from my contacts and from the Snowbirds to really say. Today was a big sloppy mess. Weather man says we could get some more real snow this weekend so I guess I will just have to get back here the end of the week and let you know what the heck pans out. What a ridiculous season so far. CYA on the trails! CarolB

Trail and Snow Report – Wednesday, February 29th (30.1 degrees – 11:48 am)
With this new snow that we’ve been getting, the trails have greatly improved. I would easily rate them from fair to mostly good – finally. The back country and two-tracks are excellent for riding. There is still more in the forecast today on top of the four to six inches we’ve already received from the middle of last night. I can say it’s definitely worth a trip up now. Snowboarding, downhill and cross-country skiing in our area should be really good as well. If you ever need more information or an honest trail report, whether you’re staying with us or not, please feel free to call. If you need a place to stay, please give us a call as well. We are now booking for Spring Golf Groups, your Family Reunion for Memorial Day Weekend and Summer Family Fun. Thank You.
