January 11 – Condition: Good
On Friday, the western portion of our trail system picked up 8 inches of new snow while the Cadillac area picked 4 inches. We continue to groom all trails with the exception of the White Pine Trail which does not have enough snow for grooming. It sure would be nice to get some packy snow because all the snow we have gotten so far has been light and fluffy. Our main trails have lots of snow while some of the smaller trails snow can get pretty thin. Over all, Jim Thomas, our new Trail Coordinator says the trails are good. Keep in mind, there is a bit more snow to the north and to the western part of our system.
January 9, 2015
Snow Report from Caberfae Peaks: 10.5 inches of new snow overnight and 28.5 inches in the last 10 days.
Two to four more inches of snow in the forecast…
