Indian River Trail Report – 01/13
We got another couple inches of snow here overnight. Then snow started falling again this morning around 5. We’ve gotten at least 6″ of fluffy snow so far.
It’s let up a bit but the radar still shows a system continuing over us. This must just be a break in the action. There is a lot of snow around here!
The heaviest snowfall this morning starts about 4 miles north of Indian River and continues South and West of town. There isn’t an inch of road exposed on side roads and shoulders right now. Getting to and from the trails will be a breeze. And the scenery will be great with all the snow on the trees. White stuff is everywhere.
The groomers will run tonight so expect good to excellent conditions again tomorrow. Temps are in the high teens but the winds are light. Wear your layers and have a good, safe day on the trails.
