JANUARY 15 UPDATE: Both Paradise Night Riders and the TASA Trail Groomers have made it through to the Tahquamenon Falls Brewery and Pub two hours ago. Both gates are now OPEN!!!! We’ve been patiently waiting for the right conditions in order to groom these trails

JANUARY 15, 2016

We do not groom in the village, and the curfew in the village is 11 P.M. to 7:00 A.M.

Trail #9 Trails is on fair condition. We want to report that there is a logging operation on Trail #9 about 10 miles in on the CCI road from CR 407 (Pine Stump Area). Please slow down and watch for logging trucks.

Trail #45 Trail is in Fair Condition we have only been grooming to CR 500 but we hope to make to the falls after today.

Trail #9/2 Rexton/Trout Lake- Fair Condition We groomed last night to Caffey Corner.

Weather forecast for this week: We are finally getting colder temperatures which is helping to freeze our wet areas. Two main areas to watch is the Falls trail and the trail to Trout Lake past Caffey Corners.

We are grooming our trails. We are currently grooming to Pine Stump Junction, CR 500 on the Falls trail and south to Epoufette and Caffey Corner. Please use CAUTION we still have wet areas on our trails.

Paradise Area Trail Report – 01/15

JANUARY 15 UPDATE: Both Paradise Night Riders and the TASA Trail Groomers have made it through to the Tahquamenon Falls Brewery and Pub two hours ago. Both gates are now OPEN!!!! We’ve been patiently waiting for the right conditions in order to groom these trails

January 14, 2016

8 degrees this morning and it looks like we got another 3-4 inches of snow last night!!! It is snowing right now also.

Talked to Groomer Mike last night after he and Gerald went through the south swamp yesterday. He said they got it fairly patched up but still kept the gates closed. You could get through there on a sled but you`ll come out the other side wet and muddy. Just decided to keep the gates closed for saftey.

Today we are going to go out to the barn and just clean up and thaw the groomers out. They are packed with ice and mud from all the mud runnin we have been doing. Tomorrow we will go into the Falls trail again and see if we can get it opened up. Kinda doubt it but gotta try.

If you want to come UP and ride this holiday weekend I don`t see why not. You will just have to stay on higher ground. It looks like next week will remain cold and snowy so we should have everything ready to go for next weekend. Keep checking back, I`ll keep you up to date.

Groomer Chris
