Paradise Area Trail Report – 01/18

8 degrees this morning and snowing. Looks like we got 3-4 inches yesterday and another 3-4 inches last night. We are also under a winter storm warning until tomorrow!!!!! ‘They’ are calling for another 8-10 inches today…….YEAAAAA!!!

I am going to upgrade all trails, sans the south swamp trail, to good. Groomer Mike is gonna go in there today and see if he can get `er opened up. I got a feeling we will start runnin a full groomer schedule very soon!!!! Things are really looking UP, especially if we get all this snow ‘they’ are talking about.
So….come on UP!!!!

Lets get some ridin in boys and girls!!!!
Let `er Snow!!!!! Groomer Chris

This is the Keweenaw Snowmobile Trail System Report for Monday, January 16, 2016.

Snowmobile trails from Twin Lakes to Copper Harbor are open. The groomers are out and trails are in good condition.

Remember to watch out for the groomers when you’re out on the trails, they have the right of way!!

The Keweenaw Convention & Visitors Bureau asks that you stay on the trails, STAY OFF THE ICE, respect private property, do not drink and drive, and above all else, please, drive safely. The signs on the trails are there for riders’ safety. Please DO NOT remove or destroy these signs. Please keep out of the Houghton City RV Park or we will no longer have access to this area of the trail.
