Paradise Area Trail Report – Paradise Area Night Riders – 12/14

Woke up this morning to 7 degrees and a fairly clear sky. Looked out on the Bay and there was 3 ships anchored out front….hmmm…usually that means somethings up. An hour later its snowing so hard I can`t see the end of our parking lot!!! Total white-out!!! Looking at the radar you can see it coming in….ALOT of it….snow that is!!! The weather guessers have us under a winter storm WARNING until tomorrow night…..YEAAAAA. They are calling for a foot plus….YEAAAA. Me thinks its ON now!!!!!

Going out this morning to button up the work on the groomers and we`ll be ready to go. We`ll get out with those babies tomorrow or Friday, depends if we can round up enough VOLUNTEER guys. We always take 2 groomers with no drags for the first run to set the trails so we need 4 VOLUNTEERS to go. I`M IN!!!

As far as coming UP this weekend and ‘scratching the itch’, I`m thinking you might be good to go!!! I DON`T think we`ll have the gates open to the wet trails but if you stay on the high and dry you`ll be able to get some miles in. Trail #8 to Pine Stump and Grand Marais comes to mind.

Wow folks, we`ve picked up an inch since I`ve been typing this!!!!! Stay tuned. LET ER SNOW!!!!! Groomer Chris
