Good Sunday morning!
WOW! What a great weekend it has been already in the Keweenaw! There is no where, we would personally be spending our weekend riding!
So many of you seem to agree. It was a busy week with messages and calls, wondering if riders should “make a trip up to ride”. It has been awesome hearing from so many about how glad they are they came and how much they are enjoying the trip! LOVE seeing all of the beautiful photos and positive reviews!
Penny Milkey, of Northern Specialty Health in Houghton, didn’t need to plan a trip up to ride. as Penny lives here and owns a business that is very supportive of not only the Keweenaw Snowmobile Club but of many other organizations and events in the area!
Penny didn’t miss the opportunity to ride yesterday and shared her day with us! Penny said, “128 miles today… including High Rock Bay, Brockway Mountain, The Mariner North, Gay and Lac La Belle. I didn’t let my fear heights stop me from taking in the amazing views on Brockway! It was a cold start to the day but trails were in excellent shape!”

The forecast for next week includes warmer temps, where it does not dip below freezing until late in the week. This iIS spring riding and conditions will start to vary from day to day.

WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Marquette Michigan >> Expect a few light lake effect snow showers in the NW wind snowbelts through this morning with minimal additional accumulations.
