Here at the resort we saw 6-8″ of fresh snow yesterday on top of the 4-6″ base. Our guests are reporting trails to be very good-excellent. They rode from here to Grand Marais, Pinestump and Paradise.

Those that are checking out today have requested to leave their trucks/trailers for the afternoon so they can ride today and another group just stopped in to add Sunday night.

Weather reports are looking positive with a lake effect warning through Monday AM calling for “6-12 or more inches” today through Sunday night.

SATURDAY Morning Jan 19th, 2013…. snowed all day friday….leaving us with honest & average 14″ of snow in the last 3 days… n.w. winds messed up the snow gauge as they where blowing off the lake….temps to stay warm er in the 20s today….

BIG storm predicted for this afternoon with HIGH WINDS and into tomorow…predicted another 8″ of snow…..

Grooming ….Trails North and WEst of town are in great to excellent shape…trails 45,452,453,8….the south trail 8 is being worked on today (saturday)
