We have had 7-8″ in the past 24 hours. This is in addition to the 5+” we saw Thurs-Friday and the 4″ prior to that all on top of the original base. The groomers are out grooming and the snow is still coming down. We are expected to get 5-9″ through tonight!

Riders are reporting 2-3 foot drifts and excellent conditions. The temps are predicted to remain cold with more snow this week.

We have ONE cottage available Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday to accommodate 6 guys.

Good Sunday Morning….its 9:40 am.. temp is 7f…and in the single digits thru out the Upper Peninsula… storm warnings and more snow and below ZERO temps for this coming week starting tonight…YAY….Its been snowing for over 24Hr.s straight in Whitefish township (Paradise).. Not official but about another good 4-6′ added … Its lake effect snows …so it depends on where your are standing…as it varies mile to mile.. west of here 2-hearted river,rainbow lodge,received some good snow also…

PIc….snow gauge is off due to high winds off the lake…so about 15″ on the ground in the last 6 day….notice the ice is way out into the lake in the last 2 days.. Below zero temps for this week will add to our ice…

TRail 45 is in good condition…Very heavily traveled during MLK 3 day weekend..over 45 sleds per hour on this trail in evenings….

— Trail #8…NOw Passable in our wetland area south of town..watch for water…its was groomed last night and is in good condition for the whole 35 miles…

—Town trail is groomed (part of trail8) speed limit is 15 mph…stay off private property and highway m-123…it is patrolled by law enforcement…

—Trail 452-453-451 all in good condition , some drifting..

–NOTE::::Due to the heavy traffic load & lots of wear and tear.. on the trails (martin luther King Holiday)…I am leaving the trails at a GOOD rating….
