Indian River Trail Report – 02/01

Yesterday’s riders report better-than-expected trail conditions out there. The freezing air and fresh snow worked wonders for the trails. I have yet to hear from the groomers but both were scheduled to run last night. Since I haven’t heard that’s a good sign that all went as expected. Conditions should be good or better out there this morning. We’ve still got thermometers reading in the low teens today. We might see it climb to the high teens over the weekend. There’s even a chance for a little sunshine tomorrow. As for today we’re expecting an inch or two of lake effect snow. More light snow is predicted on and off all weekend and word is there’s a ‘clipper’ moving in Monday. Sounds like an interesting forecast for us…Get out there and ride this weekend! Don’t forget to insulate yourself for warmth. And please take it easy on the trails…Look for another update after the weekend, or sooner if conditions change!
