Paradise Area Trail Report – 02/08

I have been doing this trail report for the last 4 years now and have always had to break down the sections to report this bad spot, or this snirt spot, or this open water hole or whatever. Its been tough and a pain in my rear!

This year its been easy for a change….every trail is in PERFECT shape with nothing bad to report. We have tons of snow and the weather has been just right and its supposed to stay that way. It is snowing almost every day and ‘they’ are watching a storm coming in for late this Sunday….PERFECT!!!

What more can I say. The toughest part now is to think of something to write so I don`t sound like a broken record….whats that word I`m looking for…..PERFECT!!! Groomer Chris

Sault Ste. Marie Trail Report – 02/08

Trails are all in good to excellent shape. All wet areas are frozen solid. There is over a foot of base out in Raco, the most snow we have had in years.

Remember our Radar run is Saturday the 9th from 10-3pm next to trail #49 at 6 Mile Rd.

Also many less signs on the trails this year, no more chevrons on every little bend in the trail.

Join us on Facebook also.

City curfew is from 1am – 6 am. Remember most City streets are open to traffic, 20 mph, stop at all intersections, and ride the right hand side of street not on side walks. Watch for closed streets that are posted, mainly around the hospital, university, and state trunk lines.

Kinross to Raco/Rudyard, Trail # #480 & #472

Base 4-9 inches – Trail is in Good to Excellent Condition. All wet areas frozen.

The Downtown Trail has not been groomed, but it is marked. The city hopes to set up the barrels on the trail this week if they don’t have to spend all week moving snow. It has been snowing so much they have been too busy moving snow.
