The snowmobile trails from Twin Lakes to Copper Harbor are open. The groomers are out working on the the trails and the trails are in very good condition. Remember to watch out for the groomers and deer when you’re out on the trails…..they have the right of way!!
There is some logging being done on sections of trails 122 & 133 so please watch for the signs and be aware.
The Keweenaw Convention & Visitors Bureau asks that you stay on the trails, STAY OFF THE ICE, respect private property, do not drink and drive, and above all else, please, drive safely. The signs on the snowmobile trails are there for the riders’ safety. Please, DO NOT remove or destroy these signs.
Please be aware that if you snowmobile on U.S. Coast Guard property you could face federal trespass charges.

Weather: Weather has been cool for the most part. Not a whole lot of new snow this week. Very light melting in high traffic areas.
Trails: Being groomed on a regular basis and are still doing great. Plenty of snow and not a whole lot of traffic right now. Very Good to Excellent in most areas.
Only a few weeks left in the season, come on up and ride!
As always email me if you have any questions. Also, just email me if youd like to be removed from this list, I’m not trying to spam anyone here. 🙂
Thanks,
