On the Ground: Over 20 inches
12/23/13 ~ All of our trails are in Good Condition and we are able to groom everything with all 3 groomers back in service. There is some thinning and snirt in spots but not bad at all. It’s been snowing over night bringing a couple inches of fresh powder. The forecast is calling for more Christmas Eve with ‘moderate’ accumulation. But it’s supposed to be colder with single digit temps and sub-zero wind chills.
BE ALERT: Loggers are plowing H-58 from the Visitor’s Center to the Log Slide on #8 west AND Adams Trail on a section of #88 and #888. Be sure to watch for signs and logging trucks where we share the road.

Just got the official word that we are to begin our full grooming schedule. Also just spoke to the groomer who just returned from grooming the Boon to Mesick route this morning and he reports the trail remains good to excellent. He did not groom the railroad grade south of Mesick as there wasn’t enough snow on it yet.
We picked up an additional 3-4 inches overnight and so far today. Conditions should be great for winter sports for the next week or two.
