Our area (see below) has added a general 18-24″ of fresh powder since mid-last week. Every day we’ve added 3-6+” Not much has changed, so this is from yesterday:
Lots and lots of snow! Our guests (7 different groups)are saying the trails are “great to excellent.” Multiple people- “I don’t know if they can get any better.”
The only “not good”(because I have to be honest)- one person stated that last evening trail 8 from Deerpark to Grand Marais had moguls but was good for the most part. The rest of the group was happy with their ride. When I quizzed others they said you might hit a few rough spots but overall they could not believe how awesome it has been.

Snow showers expected this week and cold temps.
Trail #9 is reported in Execellent condition, about 10′ in town and more as you go North. John groomed yesterday afternoon and saw about 180 sleds. On the return trip Ben only saw 25 sleds and the trail has had time to set up nicely. There is a LOT of snow out toward Pine Stump.
Trail #45 is plowed from Skyline Road to the north 3 miles for logging. This area is very icy with large dips please be careful. This trail is in VERY good condition other than that. Lou said we can now measure the snow in feet instead of inches.
Trail #9/2 to Epoufette/ Trout Lake is in very good condition, as they did get about 8′ of snow. The spur to Trout Lake will be groomed tomorrow.
