Indian River Trail Report – 02/22

Nothing new to report this morning…The weather and conditions have not changed much from yesterday. It’s not as cold as it’s been so riding will be very comfortable today. Looks like we have some snow moving in this afternoon–accumulations will be 1-3′. Looks like we might see some wind too. The weekend looks like scattered flurries and temps around freezing or slightly above. Here’s to another great riding weekend!

Western U.P. Trail Report – Western U.P. Bureau – 02/21

Looks like we are getting a little break from the snow today but more is on its way for tomorrow. Temps are in the 20’s with lows in the high teens. Can’t ask for anything better to get out and enjoy the great Big Snow Country to get out and ride.

The Gogebic Range Trail Authority: Reports one groomer is down again so they are doing the best they can with one groomer. Trail 2 was groomed last night and 11N is being groomed right now. Tonight they will get out and groom 11S. Conditions for all trails are good.

The Lake Gogebic groomers report: All groomers are out running continuously on all trails to keep them in the best possible shape. Trails are in good to very good condition. PLEASE REMEMBER TO PULL OVER IF YOU SEE A GROOMER. THEY HAVE THE RIGHT OF WAY…
Just a reminder the Bergland Mobil gas station has closed, so plan your fueling accordingly.

The Watersmeet groomers report: All trails are groomed every night. Trails are in good to very good conditions. Trails are in peak condition!

Keep in mind groomers can be out day or night so watch out for them and please pull over or slow down and wait for the operator to signal you by.

Please be careful on corners as you know several Michigan Trail signs have been discontinued. These signs are posted on our trail map. PLEASE BE SAFE!!!!
