Cadillac Area Trail Report – Visit Cadillac – 01/03

CADILLAC AREA UPDATE via Coyote Crossing Resort – Pete’s trail report from Wednesday:
Hello – rode about 120 miles today with my son.. saw only 2 sleds all day..Trails from Coyote to Mesick were mostly good.. RR grade from Mesick to Thompsonville was poor, because not enough base over the stones…T- Ville down to Bear Lake and Kaleva were good to very good down to Coates Hwy & Red Bridge.. took county roads home from there and were mostly Good.. THINK SNOW AND COLD!!!… Pete

CADILLAC WINTER PROMOTIONS – January 3

Trails are open, we have some snow on the trails. Locals have been out and report ridable. Groomers are still parked, waiting on enough snow to go out.

To better access the forest trails, you’ll want to use one of the Staging Areas below:

33 Rd Staging Area–S of M-55–approx.. 3 miles west of Cadillac on M-55 (watch for signs)

Caberfae Staging Area–approx.. 12 miles west of Cadillac on M-55 (watch for signs)

Boon Staging Area–park in plowed area south of Boon Grocery

Note: The porta-a-johns were removed from our staging areas today as our contracts on them expired 3-15-13.
