Snow has returned to the northland. Colder temperatures returned yesterday afternoon and snow followed. It’s been snowing since. No great accumulation but a light steady snow. The forecast is for lake effect for Sunday and Monday and scattered snow showers possible the rest of the week. It would be nice to have another big snow storm but we appreciate every flake that falls. We’ll keep you posted on conditions. Stay with us. Happy New Year!

Gosh…what a miserable day! Temperatures have been well above freezing all day and we’ve gone from a light mist in the air this morning to a steady rain this afternoon and evening. As you might expect, the groomers are parked and will stay parked until we get colder temperatures and more snow. We’ve tried to keep grooming long enough to get everything smoothed out after the heavy traffic this week so that when it freezes, hopefully the trails will freeze smooth and have a nice ice base. Cold temperatures are suppose to return on Saturday. Sure hope it bring some major snow with it. Happy New Year everyone!
