We picked up a little more snow yesterday and forecasters tell us there is more on the way but no great amounts. We’re happy to have the colder temperatures so we can keep what we do get. Sadly, the trails aren’t ready for any action.
Snow accumulation: 2.5 inches
REMEMBER there are fewer signs in the woods this winter so when you finally do get a chance to ride, take your time and enjoy the ride. The need for speed may be costly to you and to others. Assume every trail is a winding trail and be ready for the next curve.
A reminder to those who enjoy riding the White Pine Trail, State Park officials have asked snowmobilers to ‘refrain from operating snowmobiles when less than four inches of snow cover the trail.’

We woke this morning to find it snowing. Sigh! What a wonderful feeling. There are a few flakes in the air now but nothing heavy. Temps are supposed to remain below freezing this week and some additional flurries are expected so that is certainly better than we have had the last couple of weeks. A major snow storm thrown in would be nice but we’ll have to take what we get. Will keep you posted.
