Zero, Zilch, Nothing, Thats what we have for snow. We are back to square 1, the picture below I just took with my camera out the front window of Sledheads looking towards the Swamp…..Forcasts for this week do not look good either. I was planning on opening the shop back up today as it is the beginning of Hell Week but I am going to hold up as I feel the traffic is going to be very slow. People plan on this week well in advance and still come up anyways even if they cant ride but I am sure alot will stay home too. It makes me wonder if it will get busy with side bys and 4 wheelers…..From what I was reading online there seems to be some riding going on in the u.p. .I am glad I got my 2 rides in on my sled before my surgery……Thanks for checking in. and think SNOW……..Pete

WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Gaylord Michigan >> Precip will gradually taper through the evening. Temperatures also climb above freezing through the overnight, remaining there until Thursday evening. The bad news is that gusty winds return late tonight into Thursday. WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Gaylord Michigan >> Additional icing across the area appears less likely today with only a glaze of ice possible for some areas. Snow will continue to spread across the area, leading to 1-2" of wet accumulations for many south of the bridge before switching over rain. Strong winds are expected today with gusts to 40+ mph, potentially leading to more down trees and limbs from recent icing. Does anyone have any information that would explain why Antrim County was excluded from the the governor’s State of Emergency? Are there any numbers showing ice accumulation for Antrim as compared to surrounding areas?

Did you know a 30ft diameter tree can weight up to 7,000 extra lbs with that amount of ice on it? Crazy.
