It’s not what we want to hear, currently 32 and sunny in downtown Frederic Monday morning and almost noon. Lots of sun and upper 30s for this week and the weather said 47 predicted for Saturday. So just as in years past it is not looking good.

Darn the people along the east coast and my buddy SAK down in North Carolina have all the snow and no sleds, lucky them. There were several people that stopped in yesterday afternoon on their way home from the U.P. and they were reporting good riding up by Brimley & Grand Marais.

Trail permit sales have boomed up from only 1 to about a total of 7 now. I did have the first machine of the year in yesterday but as you can see from the pic its not really what I would count as first sled of the season. You just never know what you will see Scotty Bobby pop up on. But as his motto goes, always wear a helmet always……Updates will be when something good happens again….Thanks for checking in. Pete

Its a slow and cloudy morning in downtown Frederic. Nothing going on and I am here still working on getting this place presentable for when the riders do start showing up. I heard a couple sleds buzzing thru town yesterday and was told that there were two getting gas down the street but there still hasn’t been anyone that has rode into Sledheads yet.

I had one 10 x 20 storage unit opened up in case any of you are looking for a place to store your sleds up north for the winter. Weather for this week doesn’t look like its going to bring us any amount of snow but they have been wrong before. The wait is still on. Thanks for checking in. Pete
