It’s cloudy and 25 out with snow in the air. I would say there is about 3 new inches total on the ground since saturday nite, I havent plowed yet but probably wont. I am planning on riding tommorow. Several sleds have been thru town already this morning. Had some canadians call first thing wondering about grooming. From what I hear grayling has not been out and I went and checked trail 7 north of hulbert road and while all trails are still snow covered I havent seen any fresh groomer tracks. Pics below are trail 7 looking east and west just north of the grayling high school and trail 7 looking north of hulbert road. Super scary weather forcast for the week, we can only hope they are wrong as its now gone from 50 on thursday to 67, yes I said 67…….guess we will have to see how that plays out. Cool down back towards the weekend…..Im not ready for the end yet as I am sure many of you arent either. Time will tell…….

I just took 3 big boxes of Polar Vortex shirts down to the post office to be sent out so if you ordered you know the old saying……the shirts in the mail…..Still have a few here that people are supposed to pick up and I do have extras if any of you want to call me to order and I can send them out. Just heard a bunch of sleds out there, Its the group of canadians that called earlier, they came from grayling and said it was rough but not as bad as 2 days ago. Sunday Bonus for those that are lucky enough to be here. About 2 inches of new heavy snow. The trees look nice on the way into town as they are nice and white with the new snow. I guess it did rain some last night but then turned to snow. I just drove back from Traverse City where i attended the annual Century 21 Awards Dinner. That was a fun night but now back to the grind in Frederic, on the way back there were 7 trailers at the far west parking lot on 72 by Kalkaska and then only 2 trailers at the other lot near Grayling. Only about a dozen sleds around in Frederic as I got back into town here. I have to say it was alot slower than I thought it was going to be around Frederic yesterday. My guess is that there is still so much good snow out there that it really spreads everyone out which makes the trails safer.

Who knows what this week will bring so we will just have to wait it out.
