Frederic / Gaylord Area Trail Report – Sledheads of Frederic – 01/10
Just what we didnt need. It was very icy last night when I left Sledheads and many schools around northern michigan were closed this morning however Grayling was open. It went from cold and icy to 40 degrees during the night so there was no ice on my truck and even the snow melted off the wheel wells.
Everyone riding yesterday was happy with the trails which were superb compared to today. Supposedly big storm coming but of course they always tend to show up to late to make it a decent weekend of riding.
Just had a group of 7 sleds in here and they are riding on the wet icy trails. They were from Hillsdale and Ohio…..You just have to take what we have on the ground and do the best you can or you are not going to get any riding in. I cant believe its been almost a month since I rode with the Obama Tour and they are now on their third trip here and still riding. Wish I had the time to hang with them. My sled is still sitting in the same spot from when I pulled it in last month. Pic below are from this mornings group in here…….
On the bright side I have a closing on a house I had listed this afternoon which at least gives me some income instead waiting on the sled business. Remember if you know anyone looking to buy or sell real estate anywhere in the state I am here to help…..Thanks for checking in. Pete
