Frederic / Gaylord Area Trail Report – Sledheads of Frederic – 01/13
A skiff of new snow overnight, maybe an inch or 2 , outlook for the week seems o.k. and should bring a decent next weekend….(maybe) . This past weekend was by far the busiest of the season but still not as busy as it should be…..lots of sleds out and about.
Yesterday towards the end of the day there was a wreck on trail 7 just north of Frederic .My take on it was that they were going to fast and hit some ripples which thru him. PIeces scattered all over the trail and he was hurting……You have to remember that those sleds will kill you in a blink of an eye. There are 4 deaths now this season. At least this guy hobbled away….Sled was pretty mangled……Thanks for checking in. Pete
