WTF………Welcome to Frederic, I feel like i will be saying that alot this weekend with everybody finally getting to come north to ride. Had to plow a good 4 to 6 inches of new snow that fell during the course of yesterday morning to last night so that is a plus. They are calling for more for the weekend so we should be ready to roll.

Its now almost 11 and have had quite a few sleds in here this morning and so far only 2 trucks out back. Went thru the Ramada lot last night and about 9 trailers at the Days Inn and only 6 at the Ramada but that was thursday night. Didnt make it there this morning but there were also many jeeps and hummers there and they will most likely be out on trails where they arent supposed to be. They come about once a year in the winter.

I went over to the swamp last night for a beer after plowing and ran into part of the Obama crew there and then on the way home I stopped into Tinkers and ran into Michigan Big John there. He was happy as he had caught a ten pound walleye out on Lake Margrethe yesterday……Also a big thank you to Pam Fischer and the Indian Lake Sledheads from Ohio for the new Indian Lake Sledheads shirt they sent me. Yee Hah, Its snowing. We have had about 3 new inches of snow over night and its still coming. Its a light fluffy snow but it is snow and at this stage of the game lets take what we can. This will be the first busy riding weekend of the season plus the fact its a long weekend thanks to MLK…….

Still reports of many water holes around and they are not to be taken lightly as some of them are huge and deep. Go around if you can.

One more death in the u.p. yesterday which puts the count up to 5 for the season. First two riders in this morning are here for a day trip from Sandusky Ohio, they parked out back in my park n ride and headed out. The Alabama boys were just in and made it up here from Demopolis Alabama. I think its about an 1100 mile drive. I have many trailers in down at my storage lot from Indiana and Ohio but I am pretty sure they will be the only one there from Alabama……

Riders have been pretty generous with their parking donations for my park n ride to my daughter Haleys fund raiser for her study abroad trip to Spain so she says a BIG THANK YOU. She is going to U of M and is a spanish major…….
