Frederic / Gaylord Area Trail Report – Sledheads of Frederic – 03/09

It’s a nice day out and its gonna be busy, 4 trailers at Days Inn and 49 at the Ramada in Grayling and Fays was full too. I think people are thinking this could be it. Riders were steady all day yesterday. It was zero when I left home this morning but its up to 16 at nine.

Already talked to several that want to go to the bridge today. I have the polar vortex shirts sorted out and ready to ship or pick up. I have extras up front here to sell also. Pics below are from this morning along my way here. Just had a lady in here from Adrian who said she has been facebook stalking me and finally got in to see me in person…..Always nice to be stalked.

Thanks for checking in. Pete

Frederic / Gaylord Area Trail Report – Sledheads of Frederic – 03/08

It’s gonna be a great weekend ahead and I sure hope its not the end. Temps are gonna hit 40 tommorow. At 8 this morning on the way up here it was very sunny and still minus 16. I like that. The warmth will make for great riding temps but will definetely melt the roads off. Sunday slight chance of rain but back to snow. Its next week that scares me with 50 for thursday.

Right now we have to just get thru this weekend. Have had some good sized groups thru there this morning already and trailer counts this morning were 7 at the Days Inn and 14 at the Ramada. Still people raving about how great the trails are. The snow banks along the road by my storage units and across from the gas station in town here are three to four feet tall. Across from the gas station where people usually cross and set in that empty lot there is only one spot where sleds can get up into there because of the tall snow banks.

Just took the pics below in the past ten minutes……Also Polar Vortex shirts are in and they will be started to ship tommorow. I do have some extras in here to sell over the counter. Thanks for checking in. Pete
