It’s tuesday Noon and its snowing nice big flakes with 34 degrees out. We really had no new snow since yesterday and sled traffic has been very light. Had a call last night from the Obama tour who are back again from Toledo and riding where they can. They were over in Lovells earlier in the day and then here in Frederic and the back to Lakes of the north last night.

There are still reports of deep water holes with people getting way more than stuck. Pic below was sent to me last night so be very leary of any water you come across on the trails. Thanks for checking in. Pete

It’s windy cool and sunny at noon thirty in Frederic. We had about 3 inches of new fluff since yesterday. Riders that came in yesterday said that they thought trails were surprisingly decent for what we have and there have been reports of groomers out and about. I dont know what they are grooming but its still good to see them. Still alot of reports of water in spots.

Also since the first of the year 2 more sled deaths have happened.

One armed Cal stopped in for a visit this morning along with his dad. They were happy with what they have rode so far and were on their way to Gaylord. Pics below of Cal putting velcroing his arm to his sled. He lost his arm years ago when he hit a tree on his sled…..Thanks for checking in. Pete
